and if he doesnt get nominated then that is just bs. The rams offense has overshadowed his play all yr. Are we forgetting they had the best defense in the state and he was the best player on the defense. Without dirubio there would be a huge hole in the rams d and tim parry knows that…they wouldnt have come close to winning fciac and state without him and not to mention his boy sciaretta without those two italian goons where would new canaan be in this world…no where.

Bigworm, Big Time, Can’t figure out why Edwards seem’s to fly under the radar.
Seems the voting has closed, I’d put a nom in for him if I’d known. The kid is versatile, he’s an athlete, he can play a few positions. I’m from Fairfield, I watched him play two games, one was Ludlowe. In our weekly paper that week after the game the Ludlowe coaches said quote: The Trumbull-Ludlowe game quickly became the Richie Edwards show”. I’ll vouch for that. We watched this kid in awe. He’s got a good arm too, he threw a bomb touchdown pass in that game. As for the Thanksgiving game against St. Joe’s, well Big Time said it best, he made St. Joe’s look like Pop Warner.

hw, if Kosnik was to be considered, dont you think that they would put Kurt Ondash ahead of him with almost 200 more recieving yards and 6 more touchdowns, as well as kicking 45 PAT’s as well.

Read, Big Time, – not sure if you guys got to see him play that much but I am from the Danbury area and my cousin told me I had to go watch this kid play. My cousin went to go get a hotdog when Danbury went to punt in the second half, Edwards returned a punt 80 yards ducking, spinning, and running around would be tacklers! I then came down to McDougall Stadium in Trumbull to see them play St. Joseph’s high school, also in Trumbull. If you guys didn’t see the game, then asked St. Joseph’s what they thought. He looked like Reggie Bush against a jv football team. I know he won mvp and I think they ended up winning 45-7 or 47-7 something like that.

Guys give me some feed back on Edwards. I think hes the most talented player in our area. I want to know what Tim Parry thinks of Richie Edwards aka “The Truth”. He made St. Joes look like a Pop Warner team….
