Pomperaug running back Ben Crick had an unbelievable 2009 season, leading the Panthers to the SWC title and the CIAC Class L finals.

Crick ran for 2,105 yards and 30 touchdowns, and averaged 12.1 yards per carry.

In addition, Crick completed two passes, both for touchdowns, and had three touchdown receptions.
