2. Candidates for the 2009 Fairfield County Player of the Year Award are nominated by readers, coaches and members of the media.

3. Readers will vote for finalists starting on Dec. 13, 2009, through 11:59:59 p.m. EDT on Dec. 19, 2009. The vote is done electronically through Zoomerang.com, and the winner will be determined by the number of completed “Yes” votes registered by Zoomerang.com, and will receive a trophy and prize package from award sponsor BlueStreak Sports Training. The Winner will be announced on or about Dec. 20, 2009.

4. Only one vote per IP Addreess per Player of the Year candidate is permitted.

5. Donations to the American Diabetes Association are optional, and in no way will influence the judge’s decision as to the winner of the award.

6. In the event of a tie, a committee made up of Fairfield County Player of the Week voters will determine a winner.
