Welcome home… to the new home of the FCIAC Football Blog. I hope you like Version 3.0 of the empire.

But if you’re looking for anything from the past year and a half, you’ll be able to find it at its new home, http://fciacfootballblog.net. That content will be available until some time after the 2008 CIAC Championship Games, when that account with GoDaddy.com expires.

What will Version 3.0 bring? Most of it will be simpler on my end. But for you, the reader? It’ll provide a simpler search interface, better categorization of articles, and a lot more fun.

And coverage will be expanded, too. The FCIAC Football Flog will focus on high school football in all of Fairfield County. So the SWC and teams like Brunswick, Fairfield Prep, and Wright Tech will have their day in the sun.

Surf the site, and let me know what you think. I won’t have a ton of access to the site this weekend, but I may still do a little more tinkering. So I guess you can consider this the soft launch. And hopefully all the kinks will be worked out by opening weekend of the high school football season.
