McMahon Should be Thankful for its Win

Turns out there was a fantastic finish in the Norwalk-Brien McMahon game on Thanksgiving at Casagrande Field. I ran into Norwalk athletic director Wayne Mones last night, and he described what happened.
If you haven’t heard the story, here it is:
Late in the game, up 13-6, Norwalk went into victory formation and took a knee on first, second and third down. Instead of punting on fourth down (the Bears did have a snap go over punter Danny Diaz’s head earlier in the game), head coach Pete Tucci had quarterback Andrew Krasnavage take a knee at the Norwalk 30 yard line.
On the next play, McMahon quarterback Damien Vega hit tight end Chris Daniel for a touchdown. A two-point conversion pass from Chris Jerome to Clement Abonyi gave the Senators the 14-13 win.
