The CIAC football season will include a handful of Thursday night opening games for FCIAC. That’s because Yom Kippur begins on Friday, Sept. 17, at sundown.

On Sept. 16, Wilton travels to Trumbull for a 6 p.m. game. McMahon visits Danbury and Stamford travels to Ridgefield for 7 p.m. starts, and the time for the Greenwich game at Norwalk has not been set. Read the full story
